Curtains Up October 10!

The Macomb Center for the Performing Arts is ready to unveil an exhilarating 2025-2026 season brimming with dynamic music, captivating dance, crowd-pleasing family shows, and awe-inspiring spectacles — plus the enlightening journeys of National Geographic LIVE, where world-class explorers step into the spotlight to share their incredible stories.

The center will kick-off the season with comedian Drew Lynch (Oct 10). Lynch turns life’s curveballs into comedy gold, proving that a stutter can’t silence a punchline. This fall, the Macomb Center’s stage comes alive with global soul, iconic voices and the music of rock ’n’ roll legends: The Soweto Gospel Choir (Nov 1) brings the vibrant spirit of South Africa with earthy rhythms, rich harmonies, and dazzling costumes in their new program Peace, featuring freedom songs and tributes to musical greats. The First Ladies of Song starring Helen Welch (Nov 7) pays tribute to trailblazing women in music— from Ella Fitzgerald to Whitney Houston—with timeless hits and cheeky storytelling. One Night in Memphis (Nov 22) recreates the legendary 1956 jam session at Sun Records with the music of Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Elvis Presley—an electrifying tribute to the birth of rock ’n’ roll.

Make Macomb Your Holiday Destination!

Holiday cheer arrives with A Merry Rockin’ Christmas starring Michael Cavanaugh (Nov 30). Be sure to check out the uproarious whirlwind of family mayhem, served up with Steve Solomon’s signature seasonal humor and charm in My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish and I’m Home for the Holidays (Dec 6).

In the new year, Broadway sizzles its way back into Macomb County, adding a sparkle to Michigan’s winter with the razzle-dazzle of Chicago The Musical (Jan 25). The rhythm rolls on with timeless hits from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Lovin’ Spoonful, Hollywood Nights—The Bob Seger Experience, and the electrifying One Night of Queen.

With spring in full bloom, the Macomb Center brings a dash of magic to the season with Masters of Illusion (Feb 27). DRUM TAO (Mar 7) delivers a pulse-pounding fusion of tradition and awe with the thunderous Wadaiko drums, electrifying choreography, and breathtaking visuals. Magic Shadows by Catapult (Mar 28), offers a kaleidoscope of colorful storytelling that will awe and astound you!

The Macomb Center’s 2025–26 season is a celebration of creativity, community and connection. From the first act to final bow, you’ll be excited to share every moment at the theatre!
